Aircraft Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering near a popular southern California shoreline suddenly began spiraling wildly, eventually descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Recordings uploaded online capture the helicopter commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then descending towards the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palms and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on that day.
Three persons on the street were injured. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.

Authorities said the aircraft was connected to an annual “Cars with Copters” charity gathering scheduled for the next day.
