Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden major achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he once was, and would definitely consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he won the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
